Switch to a smaller plan
Why checkout is blocked when your current usage exceeds the new plan's limits, and how to fix it.

You can switch to a smaller plan at any time as long as your current usage fits within its limits. If it does not, checkout shows "This plan is smaller than your current usage:" and lists what exceeds the new plan's limits, such as storage used versus storage allowed or members versus seats allowed.
Too Much Storage#
Select "Free up storage" in the checkout window and delete files until your storage usage fits within the new plan's limit. Then select "Re-check & continue".
Too Many Members#
Deactivate or remove members from Settings → "Users" until you are within the new plan's seat limit. Then return to the plans page and choose the plan again.
